Diaper Cake

This is one of the diaper cakes that I've made and given to mommy friends who've had their baby shower this year... Last Thursday, we had a double celebration at Tito Ding & Tita Leng's house: Thanksgiving and Janessa's Baby Shower!

A diaper cake is a great gift idea! My best friend, Manang Joy, made one for me for my baby shower. I didn't have the heart to take the diapers apart though... I still have it!

I love making these for my "mommy-to-be" friends! It's easy and fun:

1. 48 diapers - Roll each one and tie with a ribbon.

2. Top layer = Bundle up 6 "rolled up & tied" diapers; Mid layer = 15; Bottom layer = 27

3. Craft highlights can be anything from candy-filled baby bottles (as shown) to baby/bath essentials (such as bibs, wash cloths, baby shampoo, baby brush, etc.)

4. My favorite special touches: Top the cake with a plush toy and serve it on a baby memory book!

Where can I run from Your love?

If I climb to the heavens You are there...

If I fly to the sunrise, or sail beyond the sea...

Still I find You there...
